New Sales Management Team Announced

Wausau, WI - September, 2006 - Major Industries has redirected its sales organization to aggressively pursue new business opportunities. As a customer-driven organization, the sales focus will be in the field with more resources being committed to building our national distribution.

As a first step, Major is pleased to announce that David Nyseth has been recruited to lead our sales organization as our National Sales Manager. David joins Major Industries with proven experience in the sale of commercial and residential building materials. Specific areas of expertise include architectural promotion, technical sales support, dealer training, and the management of independent manufacturer representatives. Previous job experience includes positions in retail, wholesale, and field sales management. David and his wife Mindy will be relocating to Wausau from Eau Claire, Wisconsin with their son and daughter.

In David’s new role, he will provide overall sales leadership for Major Industries. This role translates into the day-to-day responsibility for new business development and closing sales in North America. This includes getting Major specified through architectural promotion, aggressive opportunity tracking, and maintaining a consistent effort to secure customer orders. David will be responsible for the hiring, training, and development of Major’s independent architectural representatives and dealers.

Recognizing that a growing field sales group requires excellent company support, Major Industries is expanding its internal sales organization. We are pleased to announce that Carrie Olds has been recruited to head our internal sales functions as our new Internal Sales Manager. Carrie joins Major with extensive experience in operations, customer service, business systems, and related inside sales functions. Carrie’s previous employer, Linetec, provided broad exposure to commercial building products and the fenestration industry. Carrie’s experience and familiarity with manufacturing will enhance Major’s ability to provide excellent customer service as the company continues to grow. Carrie resides in Weston, Wisconsin with her husband Chet, son and daughter.

In this new organizational structure, Carrie will report to David Nyseth and work as his active partner to enhance our move towards closer customer relationships. Specifically, we want to establish more interaction with architects and specifiers. The ultimate goal of this strategy is the creation of new project opportunities for Major Industries’ broad line of daylighting products.
