General Description
To provide design teams and projects the opportunity to be awarded points for exceptional performance above the requirements set by the LEED-NC Green Building Rating System and/or innovative performance in Green Building categories not specifically addressed by the LEED-NC Green Building Rating System.
Guardian 275®
It may be possible to obtain DE credit by incorporating Major Industries' translucent glazing panels into the buildings natural daylighting requirements. Guardian 275® translucent panel systems offer a soft, diffused glare free natural light. Other light control products are not necessary. Fixed and operable windows glazed with vision glass are available in Guard-Tite™ Window/Wall applications.
Auburn® Skylights
Energy-saving Auburn® skylights are incredibly versatile and offer designers a wealth of daylighting options. It may be possible to obtain credit by incorporating Auburn® skylights into the buildings natural daylighting requirements.
