EQ Credit 6.2 - Controllability of Systems: Thermal Comfort
General Description
Provide individual comfort controls for 50% (minimum) of the building occupants to enable adjustments to suit individual task needs and preferences. Operable windows can be used in lieu of comfort controls for occupants of areas that are 20 feet inside of and 10 feet to either side of the operable part of the window.
Guardian 275®
Major's Guardian 275® Guard-Tite™ window/wall system is available with project-out, project-in or casement operable windows. It may be possible to obtain EQ credit 6.2 by incorporating Guard-Tite™ window/wall systems into the building's natural daylighting requirements.
